Ingredients
- 1 slice whole-wheat bread
- 4 small cubes of cheddar cheese (1 ounce total)
- 3 cherry tomatoes
- 4 pitted olives
Equipment
Two six-inch wooden skewers OR three four-inch plastic skewers
Directions
- Cut your slice of bread into six pieces.
- On each of your skewers, alternately thread ingredients, beginning and ending with the bread squares.
- To kick the fun up another notch, serve in a bento box with two or three of your child’s favorite sides, — like edamame, mandarin oranges or dried cranberries.
